Second-generation contractor. Career inspector. Now, your Expert Construction Consultant.
- GENERAL CONTRACTOR
- ICC CALIFORNIA BUILDING INSPECTOR
- 500+ HOMES BUILT
- 10,000+ INSPECTIONS COMPLETED
Construction isn’t something I studied — it’s something I grew up inside of. I’m a second-generation general contractor, and by fifth grade I was already running heavy equipment alongside my father. Ours was a family business in the truest sense: by the time I finished high school, we’d built ten homes together.
Early in my career, I spent twenty years mastering cabinetry. It wasn’t a detour — it was the best education I could have asked for in what fine-quality work actually demands. Cabinetry teaches you precision in a way few other trades do, and that standard has stayed with me through everything since.
In the years that followed, I built over 500 new residential homes across the Central Coast of California, and remodeled more than 40 complete homes, 50 kitchens, and 150 bathrooms, along with a restaurant tenant improvement. Along the way, I’ve overseen more than 4,000 inspections running my own construction projects — experience that eventually led me to become an ICC California Building Inspector, where I’ve completed 6,000 more, for over 10,000 inspections total across my career.
That’s the perspective I bring to owner-builders: not just how to build, but how a project actually gets approved, inspected, and finished the way it’s supposed to. I know where the process trips people up, because I’ve spent a career on both sides of the inspection process. My job now is to teach you that process — plans, permits, and production — so you can take on your own project with real confidence, not guesswork.
